Terms and Conditions
This is a courtesy translation. The German version is authoritative; the contract is governed by German law.
§ 1 Provider and scope
The provider is finvantage GmbH, Unter dem Schede 5, 57392 Schmallenberg, Germany, registered at Arnsberg Local Court under HRB 16197 ("we"). These terms apply to the sale of licences for the AItention application through this website.
§ 2 Subject of the contract
(1) The subject is a one-off purchase of a licence for AItention, an application for macOS. No subscription arises, no user account and no recurring payment. There is nothing to cancel.
(2) The purchased version may be used without time limit. The licence is not tied to a device and requires no online activation.
(3) Updates for twelve months from purchase are included. Afterwards the last version obtained remains fully usable; newer versions are no longer included. Our statutory duty to supply updates needed to keep the product in conformity (§ 327f BGB) is unaffected.
(4) AItention observes Claude Code sessions on your own machine. It is not an Anthropic product and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
§ 3 Conclusion of contract
The presentation on this website is not a binding offer. By submitting your order in the checkout you make an offer. The contract is concluded once we confirm the order or send the licence key.
§ 4 Prices and payment
The price shown on the pricing page applies. All prices include statutory VAT. Payment is handled by Stripe. You receive the invoice electronically.
§ 5 Delivery
After successful payment we send the licence key without undue delay to the email address given during checkout. You download the application from this website. If the mail does not arrive, write to support@aitention.app and we will send the key again.
§ 6 Right of use
(1) You receive a simple, non-exclusive, perpetual right to use AItention on your own devices — as an individual on your devices, as a company for one workstation.
(2) The licence key is personal. It must not be passed on, published or made available to third parties. It contains your name and email address.
(3) Reverse engineering, modifying or circumventing the licence check is prohibited except where the law expressly permits it (§§ 69d, 69e UrhG).
§ 7 System requirements
AItention requires macOS 14 or newer and an installation of Claude Code whose sessions it observes. These requirements are part of the product description; please check them before buying.
§ 8 Defects and liability
(1) Statutory provisions apply to defects, towards consumers in particular §§ 327 et seq. BGB for digital products.
(2) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For simple negligence we are liable only for breach of an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you may rely, and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
(3) AItention displays states it derives from files on your machine. It is an aid to keeping an overview, not a basis for decisions whose failure could cause damage.
§ 9 Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a right of withdrawal. Details, and the conditions under which it expires early, are set out in the withdrawal notice.
§ 10 Changes to these terms
For contracts already concluded, the version in force at the time of conclusion applies. Later changes affect later purchases only.
§ 11 Governing law and dispute resolution
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Towards consumers, mandatory consumer protection provisions of their country of residence remain unaffected and the statutory places of jurisdiction apply. If the customer is a merchant or a legal entity under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Schmallenberg.
We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
